Mohammad Ali Bani Asadi, born in 1955/1334 in Semnan, is an Iranian painter, illustrator and cartoonist. He is a member of the faculty of the Faculty of Visual Arts, Campus of Fine Arts, University of Tehran, and also works in the fields of design, graphics, sculpture and animation. He is a member of the founding board and chairman of the first board of the Association of Children and Adolescent Book Illustrators. He was nominated for the Hans Christian Andersen Prize in 2012. In addition to teaching at the university and illustrating books, Bani Asadi also has illustrations in Baran, Kayhan Bacheha, and Soroush magazines for children and adolescents…. more
