Biography
Born on April 21, 1948, at the Tehran Women’s Hospital, Alam attended Tufiagh and Bamshad elementary schools before moving on to Rahnema High School. He then enrolled in the theater directing program at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts but left after one year. In 1968, he got married and has three children named Arash, Nima, and Elnaz.
Alam began his journalism career during high school, starting with wall newspapers. Professionally, he published his first report in 1967 in the Roshanfekr magazine under the editorship of Parviz Nikaein. Since then, except for a ten-year hiatus, he has been actively involved in the media.
