Yaghoub Amamepich Information

Yaghoub was born in Tabriz on the 24th of September1946. He graduated from Mirk Conservatory in Tabriz in 1969 and graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Tehran in 1977 in the field of painting. From 1977 to 1978, he studied at the Bouzaré University in Paris, which remained unfinished. He is considered a modern landscape painter. And he believes that there is a possibility of innovation and creativity in landscape painting. Explaining his views, he says: “The landscape seems to have inadvertently imposed itself on me, but in the end it does not make a difference and the artist is working on different ideas.” During these years, I have had different encounters with the landscape; I have taken both photography and collage and painting works. I have even had experiments with a combination of heterogeneous materials. He has also been teaching art at the Radio and Television Faculty since 1985.
