Reza Bangiz
Biography
Reza Bangiz (was born in 1938), Iranian contemporary painter. He was born and reared up in one of the southern quarter of Tehran in a poor family. From the years of high school, he found an interest in painting and after passing the university entering examination, he was accepted in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Tehran University. He was graduated from the Faculty in 1966 in the branch of painting and after many years who worked as an apprentice of art, he was deserved to receive the diploma of the first grade of artistry. He has taught art in the Universities of Azad, Alzahra as well as Cultural Heritage organization. He has participated in various individual and group exhibitions in Iran, Turkey, Belgium, Greece and Yerevan.
