Biography

Dr. Seyed Ahmadreza Jalali Naeini, born on August 23, 1951, in Tehran, an esteemed Iranian economist and researcher, is a faculty member at the Institute for Management and Planning Studies. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Planning and Budgeting, a member of the editorial board of the Economic Research Review, and the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Strategic Financial and Banking Studies. Over his 26-year academic career, he has published 4 conference papers and 16 journal articles in domestic publications, collaborating directly with two researchers, most notably Nasser Khiabani, with whom he co-authored 3 scientific articles. His research primarily focuses on exchange rates, Iran’s economy, dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models, and monetary policy.
