Amin Noorani (born January 6, 1965, Tehran) is an Iranian realist and representational painter known for his nostalgic depictions of nature, the past, and middle-class urban life. His works often evoke a sense of reverence for history through classical techniques and themes.
Life and Education
Amin Noorani was born in January 1965 in Tehran. He graduated with a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Tehran. Noorani is recognized for his commitment to realist painting, employing a representational approach that draws heavily on pre-modernist traditions.
Artistic Activities
Noorani’s technique reflects a deep engagement with classical methods: his handling of paint, brushwork, perspective, color choices, and figure composition all echo historical painting styles.
