Biography

Ali Faramarzi (born in 1951) Iranian Contemporary painter Childhood and Education He was born in a religious family in the district of Imam Zadeh Yahya, in the southern area of Tehran, the capital city. He passed the course of primary school in Mohammadi School and while he was studying in the high school, by the encouragement of his maternal uncle he attended in painting classes. In these class he became familiar with master Jafar Petgar and earnestly followed the process of training. He did not follow the academic educations but he stuck to painting seriously and followed all the process of learning. professional activities He held his first workshop in 1979 in the Tehran contemporary Arts Museum. In 1981 he established his personal classes for designing and painting and then after two years he inaugurated Faramarzi Gallery. In 2006 his second work shop was held in Tehran Contemporary Art Museum. Faramarzi along with the artistic activities has also recorded in his performance sheet delivering speech and holding workshop in Stanford University and delivering speech in the center of Iranian Sokhan (Speech) in California (2012) too. He was the member of the council for holding the first Tehran Expo (2004) and the inspector of the first course of the Iran Painter Association. From 2014 he was invited as the honorary member of Iran painters Association and his name was inserted in the list of international Artists by the World Directory Artists in 2015.
