Biography

Hosseini, Mehdi (born 1943), Iranian contemporary painter Mehdi Hosseini was born in Kashan. He was a young adult that his family moved to Tehran. He received his high school diploma in the field of painting from the Art Conservatory of Fine Art, special for boys and then to follow his studies in the ground of painting and printing arts he left her homeland for USA and was graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago; then to receive his master in painting and art of printing he entered in the Institute Pratt of New York and in 1971 he received his certificate from that institute. professional Activities Hosseini by coming back to Iran was employed by the University of Art and after more than 30 years working in that university he was retired with the position of mastership. Hosseini is also the online member of the Academy of Art and Honorary member of the Iran Painters Association. Executive Positions 1.
